Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Seloros ("Seloros," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use seloros.com, related marketing pages, and our Shopify applications (together, the "Services").
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to:
- Visitors and leads who use our website, contact forms, or assessment forms
- Merchants who install or use a Seloros Shopify app
- Individuals whose information is processed through a merchant's Shopify store when that merchant uses our app
2. Information we collect
2.1 Website and consulting inquiries
When you submit a contact, assessment, or similar form, we may collect:
- Name, email address, company name, and optional message or pain-point details
- Business context you provide (industry, company size, systems in use, operational notes)
- Technical metadata such as approximate location derived from IP, browser type, and referral source
2.2 Analytics and cookies
We use first-party and third-party analytics (including Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights where enabled) to understand traffic, performance, and product usage. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers and collect device and usage data.
2.3 Shopify app and store data
When a merchant installs our Shopify app, we receive access to store information needed to provide the app's features. Depending on the scopes the merchant authorizes, this may include:
- Shop identity (shop domain, name, contact email, plan, locale, timezone)
- Catalog and operations data (products, variants, inventory, locations, collections)
- Order and fulfillment data (orders, line items, fulfillments, refunds, shipping status)
- Customer information associated with orders or the store (names, emails, phone numbers, shipping / billing addresses), only as needed to operate the app
- Staff / merchant account identifiers required for authentication and support
We do not require merchants to upload personal data outside Shopify except where a form or support channel is used voluntarily.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services
- Respond to inquiries, assessments, and support requests
- Sync, analyze, and display commerce/operations data for merchants who use our Shopify app
- Send service-related notices (install, billing, security, or material product changes)
- Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and debug issues
- Comply with law and enforce our agreements
We do not sell personal information.
4. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us host, store, email, analyze, or operate the Services (for example cloud hosting, databases, email delivery, and analytics partners), under contractual confidentiality and security obligations
- Shopify, as required to run apps on the Shopify platform and comply with Shopify's policies
- Professional advisors, or authorities, when required by law or to protect rights and safety
- A successor entity, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer
Merchants remain responsible for their own privacy notices to customers and for configuring their store in a way that complies with applicable law.
5. Data retention
We retain website lead and inquiry data for as long as needed to respond, manage the relationship, and meet legal or operational requirements. Shopify store and customer data accessed through the app is retained only as long as needed to provide the app to the merchant, unless a longer period is required by law or dispute resolution. When a merchant uninstalls the app, we delete or anonymize store-linked personal data within a commercially reasonable period, subject to legal holds and backup cycles.
6. Shopify customer data requests
For Shopify apps, we respond to Shopify mandatory webhooks and merchant/customer data requests, including requests to view, correct, or delete customer personal data that we store in connection with a merchant's shop. Merchants can contact us at contact@seloros.com for assistance with data subject requests related to our app.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls and encrypted transport (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to reduce risk and respond promptly to incidents that affect the Services.
8. International transfers
We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email contact@seloros.com. You may also unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails if we send them. Website analytics can often be limited via browser cookie controls.
10. Children
The Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
